Climate-friendly eating isn’t just about the food you put in your mouth. It’s also about how you buy your food, how you cook it, and how you dispose of it! At this fun and informative talk, you will learn the best ways to source your food to help the planet and get tips for bulk buying and proper storage. In addition, Alison will share some methods for cooking without gas and best practices for managing food waste. For anyone who wants to expand their food activism outside of the home, too, Alison will share information about local efforts to create a climate-resilient food system here in Frederick County and how you can get involved.
