Get a look inside the life of an organic farm and help get this year’s crops moved along! You’ll get dirty hands and a huge sense of satisfaction, along with some knowledge of how a small, local farm works.

 

Here are directions to House in the Woods Farm in Adamstown, MD: 

***USE THE FARM LANE ON PARK MILLS ROAD***
Please use the farm lane, conveniently accessed from Park Mills Road.

From 270:
Take 270 to Route 80 West, go two miles, take a LEFT on Park Mills Road, go about three miles, pass Mt Ephraim Rd and Bear Branch Road. Watch on your left side–you will cross over Bennett Creek, pass one house near the road, and then immediately look for the farm lane with a big “House in the Woods” billboard. The lane is squeezed between that first house and a pile of hay bales. You can’t miss it. Drive up the lane and follow signs for parking. You have gone too far if you get to Lilypons Road.

From The Common Market/Buckeystown:
Take Rte 85 South through Buckeystown. Turn LEFT on Lilypons Road. Follow Lilypons Road to the end. Turn LEFT onto Park Mills Road. You’ll pass Dream Catcher Farm. Look to your right for the House in the Woods billboard, just past a pile of hay bales. Drive up the lane and follow signs for parking.
