Two Stores, One Co-op
We invite you to visit both of our Frederick locations, as each has its unique personality.
The Rt. 85 store on Buckeystown Pike, near both I-70 and I-270, has been in existence since May 2006 and is the location that really grew our business which originally opened in 1974. This store has a very cozy feel and with about 10,000 square feet of space carries as many popular products as we can fit on its shelves. With a café, patio, extensive bulk department, full-service butcher, and plenty of parking, in addition to everything else you’d expect at a grocery store, we hope the Rt. 85 Common Market will become your new favorite grocery store!

The 7th Street store near downtown Frederick, Hood College, and Frederick Health Hospital, opened in September 2020 and boasts over 20,000 square feet of floor space. You’ll find a variety of local, natural, organic, and conventional products at this location. With a café, patio, extensive bulk department, full-service butcher, and plenty of parking, in addition to everything else you’d expect at a grocery store, we hope the 7th Street Common Market will become your new favorite grocery store!
